SURGERY IS DONE

Surgery is done, waiting for pathology results…

CHEMO DAY 111 (LAST ROUND DAY 15)

Today’s post will be short and sweet.

The PET scan results showed significant shrinkage in the tumors and I am cleared for surgery on March 4 – in just 2 weeks and 2 days (2 and 2)!

CHEMO DAY 97 (LAST ROUND DAY 1)

I’m writing today from the chemo cafe. It’s Groundhog Day, and Punxsutawney Phil is predicting 6 more weeks of winter. That might be true for the weather…but not for me! I’ve only got 2 more weeks of chemo induced winter and my sun will start shining again!!!

Firewalking is the act of walking barefoot over a bed of hot embers or stones. Cultures across the globe use firewalking for rites of healing, initiation, and faith.

CHEMO DAY 33 (ROUND 3 DAY 6)

As I lay low and allow the chemo to do its thing, I have had plenty of time to reflect on gratitude through this most unusual Thanksgiving break.

CHEMO DAY 24 (ROUND 2 DAY 10)

I’ve got great news to share. I had a visit with the oncologist yesterday and all indications are that I’m kicking butt and so is the chemo!
